First Alert 5 App

Over the last 4-8 weeks this go to weather app has become increasingly annoying. Although the app use to have static ads, now they pop up every time I open the app and change cities to view the weather. And the ads last 20 seconds long or more and you have to wait until the ad ends and exit, before a few screens later another ad pops up. So much for an ALERTING WEATHER APP that you need access to in a hurry.

I am about to delete this app. When the advertisements opens, it cover the entire screen and has a close “X” in the top right-hand side. At no time (before, during, or after) can you close the app. You must completely close the app and open it again. Is this the quality product you want to be known for? Fix the programming and let us close it, even after the ad if required. Do you not Beta test before release?

In a recent big snowstorm, I was very disappointed in the caliber of forecasting by Alex O’Brien. She is too inexperienced to have her forecast for major storms. It is frustrating and mind boggling to listen to her try to explain the weather. Keep her on weekends well she get some experience under her belt. Meanwhile, I am off to another app.
