Working gaffer here. I use this in pre-pro with the DP when we're going through reference stills — EL Zone makes it really easy to point at a shadow or a highlight and get aligned on what we're actually chasing. Saves a lot of back-and-forth on the day. Can't wait for EL Zone running on a live Apple Log signal in the camera mode — that's going to be a game changer for on-set work. For now it's already earned a spot in my prep workflow.

Been beta testing this for a while now and have used it across a handful of different sets. Really changed how I communicate with my crew on set — I can pull up a false color reference and have an actual conversation about where I want the exposure to land so we’re all on the same page compared to our reference image exposures.
