I love to be supporting NZ tech, but especially given the price of these chargers the app experience is “meh” at best. It’s just a shame because it wouldn’t be hard to add extensive extra functionality to app, while in reality we are stuck with an app that isn’t much more useful than a charging/not-charging indicator lamp. * Has no way to use the metrics on current grid renewable availability to start or stop charging. * Charge scheduling is finicky at best. A “start charge in/at X time” button would be good for utilising free power days. * No way to access the house amperage data from the installed sensor, despite being front and centre on the installer app. Now I have to go and buy a seperate device with the exact same sensor to be able to monitor this - what a waste!

This app seems pretty solid but would benefit from more informative messages and notifications as they tend to be quite cryptic. For example, I got a message that "we can't charge you at the moment". Why not?? I also got a message that the charging rate was reduced "due to load profile". It needs to clarify what load profile it is referring to - mine or the grid operator? That said the basic app works pretty well.

Great app and system, ready like the new information from the 'Live Grid Emissions'. Would be great to see the power reading in the app from the install meter.
