Charge HQ

I don’t write very many reviews for the App Store, but this one is so good that I had to say something about it. I’ve been looking for this exact solution for some time, and I stumbled on this after I’d been trying to build my own method. The app is simple, yet works perfectly with the Charge HQ system. After just a few minutes of setting up my grid-tied SolarEdge inverter and Wallbox Pulsar Plus charger, my cars are now being charged using only excess solar energy, lowering my utility bills while charging my cars as quickly as possible while just using the energy that my solar panels produce. Whether your goal is just to use the cheapest way possible to charge your car or to maximize using renewable energy, this will help you do the job.

More people should know about this little gem and more people should rate it. It just works. It does what the manufacturer’s apps should be doing; allowing you to charge only from where you want (excess solar, not battery or grid, for example). You can set maximum charge rates and prioritize battery or EV charging. Love this little app. Allows me to stop thinking about my electricity, keep my car and batteries charged and stay completely off grid with my Solar/Battery system. Basic interface but a solid FIVE STARS from me.
