I’ve downloaded and tried so many other audiobook apps but none of them display individual chapter or track images. Seems like all the new apps these days just show the album cover image. I can now see the lyrics or image that was embedded in each track. Sooooo happy I finally found a great m4b player. Thanks!!!!
I love so much of what this app is doing in terms of displaying my audiobook library. That said, I wonder how it could be improved to add the ability to have favorites, and group by author and genre. Still, the library is great and has a much more useful display than other apps. The shorten silence feature is interesting and is unique to this app as far as I’ve seen. Makes everything a little more fluid. The player is functional and well constructed. I do wish chapters was the default view for the information icon. I’ll probably buy the lifetime license at some point unless I run into major bugs. Edit: I no longer use the app because the artwork on every book is dimmed out. Seems to be a bug, but I can’t find a fix Edit: I checked in again and that first error seems to be fixed. However, the volume and playback scrubbing seem to overlap in their fields, and it’s incredibly hard to scrub without accidentally turning up the volume. Additionally, the new update makes the home tab a lot less information dense. Still rooting for this app, but it’s not something I would use yet.
The app is a bit buggy here and there but its feature rich and looks great. I love how much it shortens silences. It can sometimes shave off 1-2 mins per chapter so you can get through books quicker. Also supports metadata
