Elroi : Defense War

I know many people say this is a rip off of battle cats. Even if it was true, it is a better version. The reason is due to the amount of rewards that free to play players can amass in a week. I didn’t have to spend a single dime and I have reached ep 11 within 3 weeks. Maybe I was lucky than most but there are many events that are generous to new players. Compared to battle cats where losing a battle meant consumed resources which felt frustrating to go through. Elroi allows you to keep resources in defeated battles which is a good way to experiment with teams and try against with more confidence.

Ive played 100’s of mobile games and Would have to say this is one of the better ones ive ever played. Refreshing, Easy to learn, a lot to do, tons of customization. Unique graphics and style. Very well done and I normally dont play this genre. The cons though... ADS! Be prepared. There are a lot of ads and were not talking 15 second ads. Were talking 1 minute ads. Longest ads ive seen in a game and I cant say ive played a game that was more reliant on watching ads for progression. You dont have to watch the ads but...you have to watch the ads. If you want to unlock relic passive bonuses you have to watch ads or pay 26$ for some gems and to get no more ads. Looking through the shop this isnt the cheapest game. Its heroes (best fighters) are about 25$ each. Theres really no explanations or tutorials. Theres not a lot of tooltips either. You just have to explore menus and kind of learn on your own. Early on youre basically just throwing your team out there with no idea whats going on. If youre a free to play player I would say be ready to grind and watch ads. If youre a low spender its about the same. If you have 26$ for no more ads than you just found a GREAT game and honestly these guys deserve the 26$ for the game.
