Edit Lab Picture Photo Editing

I am a professional photographer and I have been using 30+ photo editing apps until now 😃 Edit Lab truly has everything you need to create some really amazing art. I use it every single day for editing basic photos and to create some cells page for my Instagram stories where I sell my products. What I love most is that it has thousands of really high-quality stock photos so I don’t have to buy any additional photos because I could get a direct me right from the app. This really helps and saves me so much time because I don’t have to go anywhere else to find some really good pictures. Really happy and satisfied and content that app provides is almost endless, it has so many different options of light effects and textures and from what I’m seeing it also has thousands or really unique and high-quality stickers and so much more. I can honestly say that I am confident in recommending this to pretty much everybody. One last thing is that the tutorial videos that the app provides are really second to none you can tell that the developer spend some serious time on creating the videos, my favorite one is the double exposure one. Thank you for this app 😃

Don’t get me wrong, this app is fantastic for editing simple pictures together and whatnot. But I have a few issues. First off, I purchased the pro version a long time ago, and it has me stuck in the free version now. I know I’m supposed to go into the settings and restore purchases but there’s no settings menu on the app (as far as I can tell) so I don’t know what settings they want from me. Second off, some of the tools from past versions are missing. One of my favorites for pure memery was the draw tool, and now I’m stuck in a complicated dance of switching back and forth between this app and facebook messenger to get my memes out. Third off, what tools are still here have been downgraded at best and made terrible at worse. These sliders may have been put in for form, but the past sliders functioned far better and looked fine. Last off, things are almost too simple now. The 7 or so folders the tools come in either have one or two options or all of them. It’s not evenly spaced out, and while I understand it took 8 months to develop, some more time really should have been put in to see if anyone actually wanted this update. All in all, the app isn’t bad, but now? Now it’s simply annoying, which in and of itself is a problem. I’ll probably end up using a different app, but if and when these problems get fixed, I’ll be happy to return.

Granted this update took a whopping 8 months, I absolutely hate it. They’ve changed the format completely, and replaced everything with these big ole’ sliders or these tiny little buttons on the side. And these big sliders don’t even give you the full “options” anymore. For example, hue saturation, now instead of having all those colors at your fingertips, you got two darn colors to pick from. Want another? Why, edit its saturation AGAIN! If I want to edit a orange fracking flower to purple or some crap, I don’t want to have to change the saturation multiple times just to get that color when before this update I easily could! Anyway, in conclusion this is a great app and all, but this update is just stabbin’ me in the heart, man. It’s not that it lacks content, just the way they go about providing this content as well the old. I miss the last format. Where all it’s options were easily present before you instead of messily strewn together. I mean seriously??? A bunch of options have merged into one place and it saves time sure, but the editing efficiency the app has feels as if it’s becoming simpler rather than better. I’m keeping the app, but I’m super upset with this, I wish I never would of updated!
