They receive a text, download the app to access and accept the gift. A confirmation of the successful transaction is sent, followed up with a text that the person did indeed spend their gift card. A huge plus - the value can be immediately transferred by the recipient to either Apple Wallet or Google Pay. The name DONO is unusual, clever and bridges multiple languages. The service is efficient and highly practical, allowing funds to be used as the recipient prefers. The whole concept is executed seemlessly. Customer service is friendly, responsive and prompt. I was really disappointed with gift cards because I’ve lost many of them and I couldn’t count it how much I had, but dono made everything pretty fast and easier then actual gift cards also it’s amazing to share the pictures and videos from our gift to gift sender 🥳

This app is amazing. I love the functionality and the ability to send people messages with a gift card that they can spend anywhere. Will be recommending to my friends and family!
