The new version ruins the game! It selects what it thinks is the right choice! I want to make my own choice! It wouldn’t let me choose four sixes in the spot for four of a kind! Instead it only let me choose the number of sixes. Please offer me the older version!!!!!! Let us play the game as it has always been!!!! I have played Yahtzee since the fifties before the game was sold in stores. Five dice and keep your score on a scratch pad!The first time I played your new version, it didn’t give me a chance to select what I wanted. Instead it chose what the New Version thought I should select! I’m not that dumb!!! I want to play my choices! Please give me the real game again!!
I enjoy playing the game. It helps me relax before bed. I find that the computer opponent does not have random plays. What he plays, I am given the same combination of dice. He plays full house, then I do or 3/4 in a row he plays, I get a similar hand. Computer opponent also has better dice throws. Frequently 4 in a row. Hope you can fix the glitch. Thanks
I’m looking for a Yahtzee game that is actually providing a random number generator, which is what you’re really getting when you’re actually throwing the dice. This isn’t the answer. I can’t imagine I’m the only one who has noticed that the computer gets the full (long) straight >90% of the time as the final throw in a match where it still needs it. That almost always affects the outcome of the game. But, if you need two 6s at the end, forget it. I’ve even lost more than once cuz the computer gets the full straight in the last turn, but I can’t get a single 3 (or whatever single number I need) to get the bonus and win the game. Really? What are the odds? It seems the algorithm allows for a 50/50 split in terms of wins/losses, that’s great. But when the computer decides to throw away a full house on the first turn and take a 0 for Yahtzee and still win the game? C’mon. Rarely do you get that end-of-the-game throw to make the win. I can pretty much predict if I will win or lose by my 4th throw. Too bad. This game has so much potential, but falls very short. I play it now just to predict by 4th turn if I’ll win or not. Passing time. Statistics are in my favor for predicting outcome. Maybe the app creators are afraid they won’t retain users if users don’t get a 50/50 split on wins/losses with a random number generator. Sad.
