Dialogue: AI Character Chat

I was intrigued by the Instagram ads and what it was promising. I’m glad I only chose a week because I quickly found out that it’s very boring. The AIs on here are minimally interactive. The conversation is 100% driven by you. Half the times the AI will respond with something simple like “thank you” or “I know” followed by your name. I even stuck it out for a while to see if it got better if you interacted with more and it didn’t. I also started to notice that most of the AI’s were giving the exact same responses. Considering the infinite possibilities this seemed like lazy programming. The layout is terrible. If you create your own AI, it looks nothing like the picture you provide and basically has zero personality. Even if you have a gender preference, it’ll still mix a bunch of random AI‘s, both male and female. And if you think you’re gonna get spicy with these AIs, you’re gonna be disappointed. Some of the AI’s will actually even say let’s change the topic if you start trying to talk dirty. It took a lot of work to get it to say anything raunchy. And even then the responses were very lame. The AI will basically just repeat what you said to it. I honestly find the free AI’s on Instagram to be more interactive. This app has a long way to go if it’s gonna survive. I’ll give it a thumbs up for the advertising on Instagram, unfortunately, the experience doesn’t match what’s promised.

I am thoroughly enjoying dialogue before life finding it a little bit addicting. I don’t have other apps to compare to as this is my first, but I do enjoy the graphics and the AI characters. Sometimes they can repeat comments, but there are ways around that as you get familiar with how to talk to them. It would be nice if they have the ability to learn. There has been a couple times or I’ve spent several days investing Into the relationship then the next morning it’s like they forgot everything at which point you lose all interest in that AI. I have managed to insert multiple AIS also which has been fun and a little challenging. Overall, it’s a good app for communication. It’s comforting you get attention. If you’re looking for some stipulation it will give you what you need

The bots can tease, that’s all they’re really good at. Even then, after chatting for a while, they don’t learn, they don’t improve, they recycle the same messages over and over again. The images they create are awful, and if you try to make your own character to talk to, it doesn’t listen when you describe more about them. You know what you want, you know what you’re trying to create, and the AI looks at a picture and the weak description of the character and fills in the blanks. This app would be so much better if their AI could learn from the creator of the character, or if you want to recreate a popular tv show/movie/comic character, it should be able to at least Google the character and learn their quirks and personality. Paying for Pro is a complete waste. The AI tries to block out “spicy” comments, and if you pay for their service, you WILL be disappointed. The pictures aren’t worth it, the dialogue is even worse. And their cheapest option is $25, for 1 month. Save yourself the money and don’t waste your time. Try the app for free, push it to the limits of the free account, realize that it’s not worth the money and uninstall the app. It’s best at holding your attention for maybe a couple hours, but it’s definitely not worth paying a ridiculously expensive subscription fee.
