Demian Saga

Started playing this game about a week ago and have loved it so far. There is good character variety and so far there doesn’t seem to be a need to get the few specific characters that are better than the rest like other games. However, when there isn’t a limited banner up you are stuck wishing in the banner with all the characters. This makes it hard to progress in the game since your ability to level up your character and a fair amount of your power comes from ascending the character. Since there is no way to effectively single characters out besides the wish system, which doesn’t seem to do much of anything, you are pretty much stuck until you can pull the character you need. The only sure fire way is to spend a ton of money and hope you get it. Great game, but needs improvement in this aspect

I really enjoy this game for the type it is. The 3D art and visual effects during battles are excellent, the new characters are fun and (mostly) interesting, and it was very free to play friendly. The recent additions of paid skins with stats follows the trend in other games and only affects PVP, which I avoid. Sadly, the devs took away the limited selection tickets you could earn every week just by playing the game. Now to get those last 500 tokens to get the ticket, you have to buy a package. This makes it tougher to consistently build high level characters for the Link system (another unfortunate thing they copied from Mobile Legends Adventure). I really hope they don’t lock regular progression behind a pay wall. F2P players need to be able to get nice rewards regularly (not weekly, sure) to be willing to put the time in. Fingers crossed.

As others have said, this is a highly underrated game. I love the characters - the art style is fantastic. Gameplay is typical mobile rpg fair but the pirate story is unique. Enough events to do everyday to spend several hours in game. No need to spend real money to be competitive. I made a small purchase only once, but they give away so many free (watching ads is the requirement) drops a day with SSR ranked characters guaranteed after 30 pulls that you really don’t need to spend money to be decently competitive. Could they improve things? Absolutely! But they seem open to suggestions- I felt one content area was too difficult, wrote a support email, and a few weeks later, it appeared to be better balanced.
