Da Vinci Eye: AR Trace & Draw

DaVinci offers a remarkable level of flexibility, adapting to the user's needs and skill level. You can use it as a foundational guide for simple line work, a detailed reference for advanced shading, or a dynamic palette for intricate coloring. The full breadth of its capabilities exists within a single, cohesive offering. Once I moved past the fear of being labeled a "tracer" or "copier," I was able to fully embrace its potential. This shift in perspective allowed me to create art that surpassed my own expectations, pushing my boundaries in ways I hadn't imagined possible. Far from being a shortcut that hinders artistic growth, the DaVinci app is a powerful training tool. By providing a framework for understanding complex shapes, proportions, and light, it helps to train your eye and hand coordination. It builds the foundational skills necessary to eventually draw independently, without the need for the app. The true value of DaVinci lies not in what it allows you to copy, but in what it teaches you to see.

I am ecstatic that this app exists. It’s completely unlocked my creative potential. I love drawing and creating, but as a true amateur, am never very happy with my results. With this tool, my ability to execute is unbelievable. Now I can focus on my style and the fun (for me) part of drawing and creating, instead of being frustrated by proportion. Thank you for making this. And thank you for going on shark tank and bringing this app’s existence into my awareness. I can’t wait to get home from work each day to draw. I bought a new sketchbook because my work is so much better and want to keep it separate from my old stuff. I’m obsessed and I want to show everyone! I also love the social aspect of the app. Keep playing that up! So great to have a space away from other social media with just art made with this method. I wish I could see everyone’s interpretation of the daily inspiration. I post mine but they don’t show up below the photo, so I assume more people are posting theirs.. and I want to see them! This is definitely my favorite app! I’ve had so much fun with it and areas of my art have vastly improved. I now get drawings with tricky compositions right on my first try. It’s especially helpful when drawing animals and people—getting them properly proportioned, with eyes exactly where they belong, and getting the shading just right. The breakdown mode for shading is fantastic, and the strobe feature is also extremely helpful. Any problems I’ve had have received clear and friendly help—and incredibly fast. A tutorial will be made addressing an issue I’ve had, so user needs receive very focused attention and are even welcomed. Da Vinci Eye was a gift, and I was amazed to find out how little it costs. I would gladly have paid several times over its price tag. There’s so much more to this app than I expected, and I’m looking forward to whatever enhancements may be in its future. I truly believe this is an essential tool for artists of all levels!
