CVC Words - Word Family Games

Great application that reinforces CVC word recognition with an excellent writing function. Lots of fun accessible games that challenge without overwhelming as it presents a young reader to important word families.

As a teacher of the visually impaired, I love the ample opportunities for learning & practicing the use of each learning chunk with large, visually appealing pictures & fonts. A must have for any educator, but especially those who instruct the special needs population. Thank you so very much!

This app is based on BitsBoard from the same developer. I have BitsBoard Pro, so didn't really need this app as I have the same sets of words in the fuller version. I use BitsBoard all the time with my kindergarten English language learners. I like that with one set of pictures/words I can have my students do a variety of activities at different levels. The kids are always happy to use this app. Some activities they can do independently, others work better when I'm sitting with them. My only complaint is is that some of the functionality in the settings does not work for me when I'm at school, only at home. (Anything that involves internet access.) Clearly that has something to do with our firewall at work, but I wish I knew how to fix it.
