Crochet Studio

So far, this is what I’m looking for in a crochet app. However, it doesn’t seem like they have a lot of the cheaper off brand yarn options (at least for where I shop like Michael’s and Joann’s). With that, yarn price (or approximate) would be a nice feature to see how much your project will end up costing with your selected materials. Also, for the granny square options, I wish there was something like a pattern feature. I hate the radial, but want it to be more orderly than random. As for the colors, it would be nice to be able to change the colors halfway through working on a project in a palette without losing your entire pattern by backing out. Also a timer might be a nice feature? Like you start a timer when you start a row or granny square to approximate how long it will take you to finish your project. Lastly, instead of dragging the colors each time to change the pattern, I think color selection then tapping each color would be better. Dragging 100 times is annoying. We can use two fingers to scroll and it shouldn’t be an issue. I’d love to brainstorm ideas if you reach out to continue to improve this! It’s good as is, but I think it could be more efficient.

Haven’t had this app long, paid for the year. So far I am loving this app. I’m making my first blanket. I love how easy the app is to use and the PDF it makes you is fantastic , spot on, lays out the whole pattern for you and it even has instructions . Couple suggestions though I see right off. I would like to make a custom palette of my yarns . So let’s say I am making a scrap blanket with what I have. I would like to say I have 225yds of this color and that color and make a pattern from that. That is being knit picky I know but it would be a great help. I get a lot of odds and in yarns. Even if it was with the yarns already listed and just being able to add an amount , then make a pattern from that would be a great help. But I am loving this app!!!!

I have been having so much fun with this app!!! I am inspired by colors in nature and this app makes it not only possible to develop yarn palettes inspired by my favorite photos, but it provides the ACTUAL yarns, brands/colors where I can find them! I also love the collage feature, stripe/granny stripe pattern generator too! I would love to see more brands (US based brands would be amazing!!!) made available, but even if that never happens, this is still my favorite crochet app I’ve ever found! Can’t wait for the future updates!
