Convert Any Unit Lite

I have been using this app for many years and, while it gets the job done, it hasn’t been memorable, until now. Yes, I would have given it five stars before now, because it does what I need it to do (don’t like the ads, but it’s lite. What can ya do?). Tonight I went in to covert and was thinking I wish I could remember the formula (yes, I am a math geek) and there it was! Right there on the screen! Swoon!! ❤️ An app after my own heart!!!

I’ve had this app for over 5 years and have used the currency in multiple countries (e.g. China, Mexico, Canada, Italy, Ireland, etc). I also used this app mainly to convert units of measurement while cooking. Now, I find out that even though I have been a loyal user across many years, I am stuck watching ads before I can even select a unit of conversion. I don’t mind an occasional ad banner or two, but when you’re traveling to areas with low poor connection, it makes a world of difference. It is also frustrating to know that the privileges I had a free member are now available for a price in the App Store, since it is now required to pay to go beyond the “Lite” version. I had the app before there was a Lite version, and have been a loyal user through many changes and updates. This is not a good way to retain users, and frankly, I’m not sure I want the app anymore. This has left a bad taste in my mouth.

This is a terrific tool not just for learning which x = another x, but for finding things that you didn't know you wanted to know, you know? Every kid in school at any level should have this and play with it until their little head becomes so full of numbers and symbols and new things that they just have to lay their head down and have a nap. The design is elegant simplicity, especially for a function that needs to be complex in order to be thorough. Great job.
