Compounder

Since the update I can’t select the compound frequency. It’s stuck on monthly. I have no use for any but yearly. I’ll hold onto it for a while more but I’ll have to delete if it doesn’t get fixed. Edit: developer contacted me in response to this. In the meantime I discovered that if I long press the compound frequency I can get it to switch but a light tap doesn’t work like it does for the rest of the interface.

I’ve used this app for years, and love it, but the new release broke it. quarterly button does not work, the sheet showing growth by year is one line long, can’t see the other rows unless scrolling to see one row at a time. Everything looks zoomed, so can’t see much on one screen. Can’t toggle to the sheet view. I’m using an iPhone 8. I deleted and reloaded, but that didn’t fix. I hope this new release gets fixed. I’m giving 5-stars because of past performance, but current performance can’t be rated because it’s broken.

works exactly as described. Quick and to the point. I do wish the “Periodic Additions” could be adjust in the same way the “Compound Frequency” can be. As of now the “Periodic Additions” just match whatever you set “Compound Frequency” to. I would like to be be able to easily calculate yearly compound interest on an amount that I am making weekly/monthly additions to. As of now I have to do some extra calculations to get the proper number. It would not be difficult to add these changes as this app is essentially just a couple inputs ran through a formula and spit back out. Just need to add another input for Periodic Additions.
