This has become a necessity in planning how much you want in retirement; in terms of (1) how big you want your nest egg to be when you begin retiring, and (2) how long will it last at your desired distribution amount, or how much will be left to your heirs at any year during the withdrawal period. As a current electrical engineer and former part time trainee in financial services, it confirms what I learned in the $ and calculus classes and I can’t help playing with the numbers in each of the entry fields to see what results from each scenario. This would help give any low risk to aggressive investor usually all foreseeable options. This can be used to teach kids how to become retirement millionaires even if they never make more than a lower median income through their working years. I had just read the developer’s background, so I knew someone intelligent was behind the app I had been looking for for sometime.

I was looking for a simple compound calculator that I could put all kinds of information in and different variations and finally I found it in this one. Yes it’s not perfect but it really does what I wanted it to do. I gave it the problem $1700 to start with investing one dollar additional per week compounding it weekly. It could be daily 260 days a year and it came out with a nice sum. I said yes, it could be better like in a year 260 days is basically five days a week instead of 365 days
