Overall I like this game! I love the feature to choose a picture from your files and I also like how you can use so many drawing/coloring materials! But the thing I wanted to say was that ever time I press the “Undo” button it erases my whole thing (not including the picture you’re coloring)! For example, one time I was coloring the cat picture with the flower crown. I had just colored it with the spray paint and it looked AMAZING, but then I had gotten a black spot on somewhere I didn’t mean to. I pressed the undo button then my whole thing disappeared! I was very frustrated so I swiped out of the game and played something else. So, please fix this… AND ALSO! I tried to redo it and it only filled in a small bit of one of the flowers. I kept pressing it over and over but it kept only filling in a little bit of the flower. So, not trying to be rude but THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED. IT RUINS THE EXPERIENCE AND IS E X T R E M E L Y FRUSTRATING! Thank you for listening (hopefully)
Hi! I rate this one star because of a problem that occurred. A few months ago I downloaded this app and I was excited. I had so many free pictures and even one of the pictures that incorporates a Real life image in it. Props to you, because not many developers include that freedom in the game! Anyways, today I went to go on the game and I went through the normal cycle of scrolling through the page and picking the picture I want to color. However, right as I clicked on the picture, it disappeared! I couldn’t color it and I couldn’t even color the blank page. So I tried pressing the check and going back, I tried swiping out and going back in, nothing worked. And then it asked to rate the app and since I had this issue, I rated it one star, but it wouldn’t submit! I pressed submit over and over and then the app crashed... so then I came here to write a review and guess what? It said I had to download the app to write a review! I don’t know what’s happening but I redownloaded the app to write this and I will probably rate it higher stars if the issue is solved. I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else, but this is a brand new iPad and I’ve had the app on my other device for a few months. It’s fixed! But I still want to know what happened, because I read a review where it said this happens with everyone who has a newer iPad... so I want to know how to fix it without deleting all of my pictures each time.
Although there are, as others have said, a lot of things locked into premium, I’m really enjoying (the free version of) this app. I’m not a fast colorer. I like to get things the way I want them, so it takes plenty of time to do one drawing. I really like how many palettes are available, and that you can switch back and forth while coloring one drawing. That means there are many more possible colors available. There is the danger of going overboard on how many palettes I use in one piece, so I also like that each palette has related colors that work well together. They do reuse some of the colors in several palettes, sometimes in odd ways. On the whole, however, there are a lot of colors, many that are subtly different. There are also several values of most colors. Many of the drawings have shapes that even allow you to approximate shadows. My very favorite thing about this app is that you can draw your own mandalas, and the app takes care of the symmetry (my worst skill)! I love mandalas, so it’s wonderful to be able to create my own and then color them, depending on my mood that day. The filters add a nice final touch, and sometimes a totally different look I end up liking in spite of the fact it’s not what I was going for in the beginning at all! Thank for this awesome app. I hope you make enough money on the excellent material in premium that you can keep all of the current stuff that’s free available to those of us who can’t afford the premium.
