Color Switch

Color Switch. I played this game for the first time two years ago, and I thought it was great. It's still very addicting now! This app is filled with content and modes that are somewhat similar, but different. The amount of content is kinda insane for an app like this. You can also play endless modes to get a high score! But, the ads really kill this game. Sure, free app, ways to get money, I get it. But it gets annoying after you die once on a long Challenge level, for example, and want to try again, only for an ad to be shoved into your face, making you even more frustrated about your fail because you have to wait about 15 seconds. And while the game modes are awesome, some just feel way to similar. (But, the fidget spinner mode. Seriously?) Overall, good. The amount of content is crazy, and the game will take weeks to fully complete, with the game constantly adding new modes and being updated. The ads and similar modes kill the game and incentives to fully complete and play all the modes, but it still stands strong and is fun to play.

I’ve had this game since late 2015, and let me say, after having this for almost 2 years, I still haven’t completed every level. The content that is added every so often is what makes this game great. Sure, the game modes can be questionable (Fidget Spinner and Fidget Tap...) but some of the recent one like Fruit, Punch, and Rocket are unique to most of the other game modes that are offered in-game. What I think should change with new game modes, is how many levels they add. Since Lava (with the exception of Obstacles...) they add 50 levels, then about a week later, they add 25 more. It doesn’t bother me, but I feel like it should have a random number, like 30 or 35 or 40, or even 20. Regardless of that, I come back every day for the daily challenge, the wheel, and a couple levels when I have spare time in between classes or at home. What keeps this from a 5 star review is how ridiculously hard some levels are in certain game modes (Target Mode in itself is difficult, but it might be me). Other than that, solid game! Keep those game modes coming, I’m looking forward to them. 😊

I’ve been playing this game for about a year now. On my first run through the game I had about 1400 levels completed and then I ended up getting a new iPhone. All of my progress, and the 30,000+ stars I had built up, we’re gone but I figured no big deal. I’m now back to over 1800 levels completed and building my stars up again. There are a ton of different modes you can play and each one is challenging and fun. The higher the level, the more challenging the level. For the gameplay itself, I would give it a 5 star review. The reason for the 4 stars is because of what everyone else has said. The ads are ridiculous. Some ads are 30 seconds, others 15 seconds and some only about 5. Some ads you can’t even close out of and have to restart the app by closing it out. Some ads decide they want to pop up while you are in the middle of playing a level (very frustrating when you are playing a level you have been having a hard time beating). Personally I would love for them to give us a paid app version is no ads. I would honestly and gladly pay for this app with zero ads unless you are using a continue on a level. Other than the ads though, it’s a great game to play.
