I canโt say enough good things about this app!! I have been constantly looking for an app that I could use for list making that could satisfy my ADHD. Lists are apart of my everyday life. I literally need them to function. I normally stick to good old fashioned pens and paper so I can customize my lists to the absolute fullest extent with my borderline disturbing collection of pens, markers, and pretty much every other stationery related item imaginable and in every color imaginable. ๐ ๐ Anyway back to my point, I have never been able to find an app that even came close to satisfying my compulsive need to create a fully customizable list until this one. Itโs completely free and the customization possibilities are endless. You can change color themes for each list, you have various font options, you can even customize the apps icon itself, and so much more. Also the best part is you get free fonts, themes, etc every time the gift shop resets which is so fun!!๐คฉ then you also get to unlock different themes, fonts, etc with their rewards program. For a reward task example โadd or check off 20 thoughts in a list between 6pm-9pmโ then once you do it you can collect your prize in the reward section making your app even more customizable. Can't say enough good things about this app. Do yourself a HUGE favor and just get it. Its life changing!! Also just wanna give a HUGE thank You to the creators of the app for improving my life. Now if I need to write a list and don't have my stationary supplies on me in that moment it doesn't have to be the end of the world! Best list app ever and I've been searching for years!!!!
Firstly, I donโt want to bash this app. Iโve been faithfully using this for years, long after support for it had all but ceased. Even when updates were sparse, I continued to use it because no other app had made lists so simple and intuitive. When I heard it was getting a major update, I was so excited for a fresh coat of paint. Iโd say overall, outside of a few bugs that Iโm sure are being worked on, itโs a much more enjoyable experience. That being said, the most recent update re-added badges for each list, but opted for a total list count instead of a count for things you had scheduled that day (as in the previous version). My primary use for the app is as a to-do list, so a daily count of things I need to do is very useful. Iโm hoping that can be patched but perhaps Iโm in the minority of people who use the app in this way. Otherwise, excellent work from developers who seem to listen to feedback from their users. Update: I still use this app almost daily and for the most part, itโs still a good app. Still awaiting the fix from the developers who responded to my review several months ago saying it was coming soon. Like others have said, I like this app but I used to love it. It doesnโt have the same functionality as it once did but it seems like those of us requesting these changes are in the minority. Simply put, I just miss having a โdaily badge numberโ to see how many things I needed to do for the day versus a โlist total number.โ I thought that was the point of being able to add dates to each item.
Iโm shocked this has so few reviews because Iโve literally used this off and on for ten years & nothing compares. The elegance and simplicity of the design are particularly useful for anyone with ADD/ADHD. How many times a day do you reach for your phone to do one thing and then found yourself doing something else, only to ask yourself โwhat was I about to do?โ When I use this consistently, I find myself doing that far less. Paper lists are great for ADD folks, but you have to keep up with a pen and paper, whereas we always have our phones on us. Swiping complete on this and seeing the completed items is particularly useful for grocery lists as another reviewer mentione, as well as recurring to doโs. Itโs also the closest you can get in the digital realm to the satisfaction & sense of progress of crossing something out on a physical list. Before my children too over the iPads, I loved the ability to sync across devices. Iโve come to appreciate its visual simplicity even more as I reach the dreaded โwhere are my reading glasses?โ era of my life. I am so appreciative that theyโve done the update to keep this app alive as our devices continue to evolve. Thank you to the creators of this app and to those who keep it rolling ๐
