UPDATE 2: back down to 2 stars. The iPad app is so quiet that I am two feet away and at max volume I can’t hear it. Also, I was watching a game yesterday a bit behind because I was busy, and the app died in the 8th and the replay wasn’t available. Umm why? This happens a lot, it will sometimes take 5+ hours after a game to get the replay up, when 90 min later I can watch it on the mlb app (which is where I finished last night’s game). Why is the replay not available immediately, especially when I was already actively watching it? UPDATE: I found if I hit “start from beginning” on the iPad (NOT play live), it will keep the landscape mode! Even if I am only a minute behind. Bumping to 4 stars because I am a genius and they are getting some after glow. I have an iPhone 16 and the video frequently freezes for a second, making watching a game frustrating. I have an iPad a16 and Chsn will not, under any circumstances, allow me to full screen in landscape mode. I have tried locking the screen in landscape, and the video will briefly fill the screen before forcing it always back to a small video in portrait mode. Extremely frustrating. Pip will work in landscape, but no full screen attempt will allow it. I also have issues with the Roku app. There’s no option to hide the scores in Roku, and there’s no way to start a game from the beginning the way there is on iPhone and iPad. Frankly, not a single way I try to watch games is great. Still, I don’t have cable and it’s nice to watch the games, even if the process is frustrating every time.

Haven’t had any issues watching my Sox and Bulls, hate the fact I can’t just put on WGN anymore, but I get it, capitalism doesn’t want the honest working person to have any kind of free entertainment. I had to change providers so I could have Comcast Sportsnet, then it got switched to NBC Sports Chicago which I think I switched again for, now I got rid of everything and pay $30 for this app, which feels like a lot but I got tired of just sitting by a radio. But, good functioning app. Been able to watch the games at work from my phone, so there’s that
