I want to love this game. It’s fun and challenging, but it feels like you’re punished for spending money on the game. I paid to turn off my ads and now things that were watching ad require coins, like they are punishing you for spending money on the game by trying to get you to spend even more money. In my case, it means I don’t spend any more money on the game because it feels dishonest. Also things just don’t work sometimes like my star chest has not advanced in a couple weeks. My stars just don’t get added to it since I started spending money on the game. It in order to get to the home screen you must quit the whole level or close out the app and go back in. It’s incredibly frustrating. This game has massive potential, but I can’t figure out if it’s just flawed or dishonest.
This little birdie game is so cute, and fun for hours of puzzles. There is a free version with forced ads at the beginning of every puzzle. You can also watch ads to get a free branch. That is so important later. They do offer ad free for $6. Don’t do it if you want to play this long haul unless you want to spend more $. After turning off ads the only way to get an extra branch is either from in game reward or buying for 900 gold. You don’t make much gold in the game, so it quickly turns into a spend thing. A lot of levels can be beat without it, but after losing to the same difficult level 6-7 times it would be really nice to be able to watch that ad for the free branch! The gold runs out fast unless you want to buy it. I had no issue throwing them $6 to stop mandatory ads between matches, but I am not going to do $2 for a branch every time I get jammed up. They should add an option down the road for the paid (ad free) to be able to select to pay for the branch with the gold or watching the ad. Give us the option. I’m not paying $2 a branch, but I wouldn’t
I love this game. It makes you think. Easy to get help and extra resources. There are just two problems I have found. One, if you want to go back to the Home Screen you have to go to Settings>Home then it makes you Quit the game you’re on even though you haven’t started and lose a Life along with losing your Winning Streak. Two, the in game Coco’s Reward that’s like a slot machine will allow you to spin once then collect your rewards then the game locks up and you have to close the game and log back in in order to unfreeze it.
