Catholic Saints Calendar Plus

Reading about the saints and people of God is a constant inspiration. This app makes it easy with its clear and helpful format. I use it daily, and it has worked flawlessly. Thanks to the developers! Update: It’s a couple of years later, and I continue to use this app. The developers have added audio narrations and other features — I look forward to opening it every day. The one time I made a feature request of the developer, it happened remarkably quickly, and communication was clear and courteous. I recommend the Saints Calendar!

I love this app. I’ve been reading about the saint’s daily through this app for many many years, and I continue even today. Not too long ago, the App display made changes that I didn’t enjoy, but I thought it was because my cellphone was so old and maybe any updates by the app were not supported anymore. However, I finally got a new phone and it’s all the same new changes. What I liked about the old ways of this app: 1. I could email a friend, family members, and especially my children the days saint’s story. If I read a story’s Saint and it reminded me of someone who needed some encouragement, I would email it them. I can no longer do that with the new changes. 2. The background used to be black with white letters. I miss that. I wake up at 5am every morning to do my daily readings and read about the daily saint’s story. It was very nice not to look at a bright screen (even if it’s at its most deemed possible) so early in the morning. I hope the app developers reconsider returning some of these features back after reading this.

I love the churches celebration of each saint and holy feast day because Our Father in heaven Is so intentional about bringing us in to the heart of his eternal love in the living demonstration and cooperative infusion of the sacred heart of Jesus his son that’s connected by time and space in our growing memory as he transforms us by being that Faithful Potter and we his willing pliable clay. As he puts us through the crucible fire of living life here on earth, testing our trust in his divine providence, we are being & becoming living stones being built up into His Eternal House! Let us move and run with this amazing narrative Saint Peter describes, this eternal nation & royal priesthood we’re becoming as The Holy Spirit‘s living stones (temples of the Holy Spirit)!! “Thank you Jesus for being THE LIGHT of the world! You are Light from Light, True God one in being with the (Creator) Father, fusing yourself into each of us who surrender to your amazing way of infusion (Eucharist ) that connects us with all the living saints by becoming your living body, Your Eternal Bride creating New Realities by the Holy Spirit !
