As an ex gambling addict, I use these games to still enjoy the excitement of playing fruit machines, without throwing lots of money into them in real life. The developers have made it there absolute goal to make full advantage of that. The “free” currency you receive as a new member goes very quickly, but I gave this game the benefit of the doubt and decided to pay £3.99 to continue playing...what a waste of money that was. Every choice you make in the game is met by a ridiculously uneven chance in the games favour (ie the developers back pocket) There aren’t many authentic pub fruit machine games on the market and this had a great opportunity to being one of the best, but the ludicrous difficulty to get anywhere close to the imaginary jackpot (or even something close to a decent “win” for that matter) completely ruins the entire experience. DO NOT waste your time downloading and please, please, PLEASE do not put any more money into the developers!
I’ve found this a great game..... except the odds are definitely not in your favour. Like other reviews say the hi low is totally rigged. And soon as you win over £3-4 on the main game, you head straight for the bull feature (game over) Best way to beat it (free play) just delete then reinstall for another £15, and once that goes, (you will lose it all fast) use scratch card to win £10, use that up, delete and repeat. Most I’ve won (and lost) £5..... rated 3, as besides the odds, I do like this game
What could have a classic British fruit machine app falls foul to.... I don’t know really, it’s not greed because it’s getting bugger all cash out of me. And if it has sponsors or advertisers then they have to be seriously concerned by the continuously poor feedback and ratings it gets. It seems to be all of this designers games that suffer with the same issues. The comedic element of the theme and great fruit machine design have all the earmarks for a success, but alas the fail rate within the actual gameplay are 100% laughable and guarantee it’s downfall. You do get to predict when you will lose a gamble after only playing with your original allowance. And when you can’t proceed further than very low set points on the game it goes past frustrating into sheer annoyance. The scratch card feature for ‘free’ money is again such an insignificant amount that you rarely get past playing it for 5 minutes. Poor effort, and quite frankly the Carry On team must be turning in their graves to be associated with this tripe.
