Satisfactory actually

Of all the recent / current fake caller apps I’ve tried from the App Store, this is the one that represents the incoming call screen and the on-a-call screen most accurately. I’m not sure why it’s so difficult for other developers to get that right — I’m not even a developer but I understand the CallKit / UIView enough to generally recreate it. But this one got it right (at least for me on iOS 16). I also like that you can choose whether to play the fake voice audio out of the ear piece or the speaker (the other fake caller app I have only outputs out of the speaker, which is a silly oversight). The are ads fairly excessively, but I’m just gonna pay the 6-7$ to get rid of them (it was full price $18 IAP price I wouldn’t tho. I guess it’s on sale). I like supporting devs who offer a one-time fee option. Especially apps like this. There are devs who wanna charge a weekly subscription for a fake call app; it’s ridiculous. [EDIT: ignore the next paragraph. It turns out it does have this feature, it’s just that I couldn’t see the “More” settings page until after I paid for the VIP, so I didn’t know it was there. You should really show people what’s on the more page before they pay, even if you disable the toggles. So at least they can see what “more settings” are.] The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I wish it had a feature to completely kill or dismiss the app and return to the home screen after ending a fake call. I’ve seen other apps have that feature. I think for 90% of people it would be better to return to their ACTUAL Home Screen after ending the “call” rather than a screenshot of their home screen. And it should be easy to implement — add a settings toggle for what to do when ending call, return to home screen (aka quit/dismiss the app) or show the screenshot. If you do that I’ll change to 5 stars. The only other thing I’m wondering is if I was on a newer iOS than 16, if it would show that version of iOS’ call screen (if I upgrade to iOS 26, I wouldn’t wanna see the iOS 16 call screen).

It looks realistic but I would change a lot about it

This app is funny and looks really realistic, but some things need to be changed. First is the amount of ads. I know the developer wants money but this is just too much. I don’t need an ad just for clicking onto the app. Next is the premium option. It cost like $10 a month or something and it just doesn’t feel useful. It takes the ads away but it also gives us the feature to use swipe to pick up the call. Most iPhones use the swipe to answer these days so it should really just be free and we shouldn’t have to spend money on it. Again I know the developer wants more money but come on. Lastly is the amount of audios to use. There are only three to use. If you want to use this app for practicality it’s good but you can’t prank someone very much when there is only 3 voices. You can’t prank someone use the voice recording also but that is too much work. You can call me lazy but there should just be more audios to chose from.

Pretty realistic and authentic!

I am actually shocked by how realistic and authentic this app is. I think this would be a great app to use if one is in dire need to exit a situation, for example if you need to get away from someone you feel uncomfortable with and need a fake call to swiftly exit the situation, I recommend using this. Especially if you don’t have a specific person who can call you to fake a call, this would be great for those in need. Or if you just want to have a little fun and play a simple prank, it’s cool. Plus the review tactic used by the creator was creative and funny, definitely motivated me to create my review but did not change my feelings of this app (positively or negatively). The only downside for me are the ads but the pricing of the ads are very fair and I understand money must be made (the pricing to remove ads starts at $1.99/monthly and $6.99/annually which is a good deal, better go for the annual deal to save money!), plus the ads aren’t continuously too long nor too annoying. Great app!
