Bus Compass

The first day of school it worked perfectly. Showed where the buses were on the map and how far away it was. Now it works for the most part for my son in middle school but it says it arrived to pick up my daughter in elementary school an hour early. It don’t show her bus on the map at all don’t tell how far away it is. This is really frustrating! And yesterday afternoon it said arrived to pick up my daughter at her bus stop then a minute later said dropped her off

Based on previous reviews of this app, it seems like a lot of updates have been made. The school district that I use this for doesn’t require my kid to scan any kind of fob, the gps on the bus (so far) has seem to be very accurate and I like the refresh rate for the bus being every 2-4 seconds. The only adjustment that I would to be the most helpful, is if the notifications chimed like other apps notifications. I’m not sure if other users have had this problem, but I only SEE the notifications on my Lock Screen and banners. Even when my phone ringer is on and I get notification sounds for other things, this one seems to be the only one that I don’t get the sounds for. Which means I have to constantly be looking at my phone while getting my child ready and packed for the bus. If some kind of update and/or bug fix for this could happen, I would be more than happy to change to a 5 star review and even recommend to other parents in the district and bus area to re download the app.

I have signed upProperly. I have activated my child’s school. My children scan their fobsEvery time they get on and off the bus. I do not receive any notifications, even though I have it set up in the app to receive all notifications. There is a significant delay in tracking, and I cannot see where the bus is in relation toIt’s actual path, which makes the app useless. One afternoon, I had the app open and was watching the bus to see when my children would be dropped off. The notification that the bus was at the drop off spot came 10 minutes after my children arrived in the door, which is a good five minute walk from my house. So, they had been off the bus for 15 minutes before the app reported that they had gotten off the bus. I would like to see this app updated with the bugs removed, notifications popping up, promptly and appropriately, and then I will re-review and potentially provide a better score. But as of this time, the app is useless sitting on my home screen.
