A Soul Crushing Experience, Even Worse Than The Last Bite of Cold Fries

My fate was sealed the moment I downloaded the Burger King app in Ireland. Little did I know, it would be the beginning of a truly soul-crushing journey, a journey I wish I could un-live. It started innocently enough, just a craving for a Whopper, but the app soon led me down a path of despair. First, I was greeted by an interface that looked like it had been designed during the Dark Ages. My fingers trembled as I clicked through the labyrinth of broken links and cryptic buttons. Was I ordering food? Or was I attempting to summon an ancient demon? I still don’t know. Then, the checkout page—oh, the checkout page—was an abyss of confusion. With each attempt to pay, the app would reject me, as if punishing me for my sins. My bank account began to feel like a distant memory, a forgotten existence. I was trapped in an endless loop of loading screens and error messages. A tortured soul, lost in the digital ether. And when, by some miracle, my order was finally placed, I was left to wait in agonizing silence. Minutes turned into hours—nay, eons—as I stared at my phone in disbelief. I could hear the echoes of the Whopper I had once dreamed of, but it was nothing more than a cruel mirage. When the delivery finally arrived (several lifetimes later), the food was cold, the fries soggy, and the soda… let’s just say, it wasn’t even soda anymore, but a sad, diluted liquid resembling what I imagine the tears of a broken man might taste like. The Whopper, once a beacon of joy, was now a dry, lifeless thing—a cruel reminder of all that could have been. And as I sank into the abyss of culinary disappointment, I realized that the true tragedy was not the food itself, but the realization that I had just been witness to the slow, painful death of my faith in technology, fast food, and possibly even life itself. So, if you enjoy torment, endless loading screens, and the feeling of being betrayed by an app that has no regard for your very existence, then by all means, download the Burger King app. But if you value your soul, your time, and your stomach—run. Run far, far away. The app should come with a warning: Downloading may result in permanent psychological trauma.

Inaccurate options on the app!

There is Chicken salad on the app for pick-up at Hollyhill Burger King, only to find out upon arrival that it is not available at this location at all.

Okay app

Cant use the app in Airports which is unfortunate and the removal of the Sunday ice cream was disappointing decision. All the rest is grand.
