The rewards are none existent and for some reason the app has a coupon/voucher section that is always blank. Also since they switched to just the app and not the cards, many times it just won’t scan and staff say “ah yeh it doesn’t really work”. Even if it does you gotta get 30+ coffees when it works for a free one. Ive quit and gone to local cafe with better offer.

As far as coffee shop loyalty apps go this is about average. Nothing new or different. I would love to see Apple Wallet compatibility like the Caffè Nero app. Update: Downgrading my review from 3 stars to 1. Zero effort has been put into updating and maintaining the app to keep up with rivals like Caffè Nero and Insomnia. Still no Apple Wallet functionality despite (as other people point out) it still says at the bottom of the App Store page that it ‘Supports Apple Wallet’. Because I don’t use the app that often it offloads. So, when I go to use it at the till I have to download it and in an effort to move things along and not hold up the queue I give up. If the card was in Apple Wallet, I would always have it ready.

Great app that’s finally been made, but there’s no support for Apple Wallet. I noticed others mentioning this and having developer responses say there’s no support for it, but on the App Store page, it clearly says at the bottom there is. Apart from that, I’m glad the Irish Costa Coffee finally have an app. I can ditch my plastic card I keep forgetting. EDIT: app also keeps logging me out, and I constantly have to keep logging in. This is a bug, and I don’t know where to report. I’ve downgraded my star rating to reflect this.
