Bosch Remote Security Control+

I ignored the comments about this app being rubbish thinking it was the whingers whinging. It’s not. It useless. It kicks me out of the app randomly on a regular (like every 10-30 seconds) basis. I set it up on my uncles phone as he was considering the same alarm. It worked for a day then stopped sending notifications even simple alarm armed and disarmed notifications. The app is very basic which is good. But it just doesn’t work which makes it useless. Bosch you have created a lemon. Fix it or remove it. But in the mean time people. Don’t waste your time. Use home assistant.

If I can score a “0”I would. Logging on to your system takes forever. It goes through all these processes that in the end it’s easier to just turn it off at the panel. Push notifications once worked. Since an app update these notifications have now stopped. They occasionally come through all at once at 2-3 am in the morning waking you and your partner up. I have placed multiple calls to Bosch, left multiple messages and NO ONE has bothered calling back. Absolute rubbish.

It is incredible that after spending thousands of dollar on security system, this is the app you end up with. Connection is literally worse than the old dial ups. At this point they might as well add that tone in while establishing a connection. Not sure what effort have been put into this app but it is really hard to believe in this day and age it takes that long to connect
