I have never downloaded an app to review it within 5 mins

Wow. I feel human again. I feel like a human in a trade deal; Not a thing obtaining another thing by giving a thing. The app actually works (unlike every other fast food app {cough cough maccas, subway, HJ} which feels laggier than using dialup on a 30 year old computer) and it’s actually nice to use. It doesn’t take itself so seriously, asks for consent for mango magic pics, and honestly puts a smile on my face when all I am doing is trading my money for a drink, I’m glad they make it feel more than that, and it’s not some corporate money hungry app. Thanks for making my day, I wasn’t having a good one but now I am for something as simple as downloading and using this app for 5 mins. I still need to order my Caribbean Green so I’ll leave it here. Thanks again, it’s a really well made app :)

Review on why I like boost drinks

I just drink water and sometimes I want a change of what I drink. Don’t get me wrong I love water but I do want to try another drink. As long as it’s not a fizzy then I’m in. That’s when I first tried boost drinks which is years ago now. I think that year would show up on my first time buying boost on my details. At first I was trying the same drink all the time, admittedly I changed it up and did come across a drink I did not like. Lucky I can’t remember what that was. Plus it’s not every day I’m buying boost but I do like the boost flavours. So I buy it. Actually the last time I had it was 2 days ago. It’s great for the value with your money is to get the large but at times it’s a bit big for me. It all depends how I’m feeling at the time with the size when I buy one. But money wise it’s a good idea on how just for a few more cents you can get the large size. It’s worth it’s value that’s for sure to always want to upsize. Thank you guy’s. It’s a credit to you all why people like me still keep coming back and buying boost👍👊

New version

The new version of boost takes a few steps forward in terms of bug fixing (finally fixing the logout issue is great!) and a number of steps backwards in terms of UX. As a developer I get it, UX is hard. But the new interface is confusing and loses out on features that I actually liked. For example, we lose categorisation of drinks and new/popular tags which was actually kind of nice. The new pictures just show the top of the smoothie which really doesn’t help when I want to know the ingredients at a glance. The old app made the selection much more obvious at a glance although the search is nice. Next, the gestures are confusing - the flow throughout the app is inconsistent and confusing in terms of gestures like moving from swipe to tap to swipe between different screens. The layout is confusing and the green branding was replaced by a generic white background and hard to read font. The store finder is barely usable if you actually wanted to find a store that wasn’t the closest. Why is there even a separation between drinks and smoothies? Why is there a bitcoin price tracker of all things built in as a contest? Why is the copy sickeningly sweet and ‘funny’? It’s a good attempt to try and revamp the app but it got worse in a lot of ways in my opinion. Sure, maybe I am being a bit bit picky like meg from Melbourne (I wonder if she’s happy with being called out like that!) but why settle for such an obvious downgrade in UX?
