I was able to add most of my collection to the app. It is missing bottles and I submitted those. I wish there was a way to tell the app that I have more than one of certain bottles. I have two of a few things and can only add one. When trying to add it a second time, the app removes it from the list. That is weird behavior to begin with. Scanning in bottles seems to do it the hard way. Why not just scan the barcode? Also, I can’t figure out a way to delete previous scans. Overall, decent app with room for improvement.
Scanning worked 0% of the 10 tries on different common bottles
This could become an amazing companion app for whisky aficionados and collectors everywhere. But as it is, it has a long was to go. The system is so buggy that I find myself having to close the app every few searches as it is constantly freezing. And the search function is not prioritized well; if you do a simple search like Johnnie Walker you’re likely to have to scroll past ten or so obscure single releases that you’ve never heard of and will never see before finding a basic red or black. It is good that there are so many options, but basic prioritization is essential.
