AUTOMATE SHADES

This is the worse app!!! We purchased battery powered shades and this is the only app that runs them. Now I’m so sick about spending thousands of dollars on these shades knowing what we know now. We’ve had nothing but problems with this app since day one. Although we may not have the best internet connection, we have other devices that work fine and are further from the hub than these shades are. After the company owner spent a few hours here at our home trying to figure out what the problem is, she left with no resolution and now the hub seems to be offline and we can’t connect to the shades at all through the app.

There are several bugs in the update Jan 2025. The shades are meant to be monitored by the app. As users, we should be able to engage with each shade as well as grouped shades. The app drops shades in “grouped” areas, tapping an individual shade used to give user control to set shade positioning. Since update, choosing an individual shade goes to a screen for diagnostic choices. Things are out of place as well as “glitchy” and no longer operating as sold. Very disappointing. Your software writers need to correct their work. This is bad programming 🫤

I am always grateful to be able to speak to a live human person when I have technical trouble with my shades. I was disconnected from my original tech support person but luckily reached Kirill on my second attempt. He helped trouble shoot a very complex issue that occurred after my internet/ cable line was accidentally cut by my lawn service and had to be replaced. I tried unsuccessfully to trouble shoot on my own but could not successfully pair the hub and my internet to get it back online. It was a bit more complicated than I expected and I would not have been able to figure it out on my own. He patiently walked me through each step. Thank you Kirill!!
