AUMI TV

I got this for Christmas so I’ve only had it for a bit more than half a year. Everything lived up to its price tag. Wasn’t to bad. However over time me and my sisters projector have gotten worse. It takes about 5 minutes of it being on before the entire thing restarts and it does this constantly. And video playing will start to lag and then take you to a “15 degree optimal viewing angle” before it turning off and on again. As for screen mirroring, does not work. Connects for a second and then disconnects.

Instructions weren’t terribly clear and had me trying to do more than I should have from the app (I’m assuming that’s why most of the reviews are negative), but everything sorted itself out once I manually entered my WiFi information in the settings on the projector main menu. From that point forward, I had no issues casting my iPhone or using the app as a remote.

Spent an hour troubleshooting trying to get projector to mirror. It was easy to get Bluetooth and Wi-Fi set up on projector. Unfortunately the English directions were written very poorly . Download the Aumi app and still no mirroring when all interfacing indicated it was connected. At that point, you would think the USB cable plugged directly from your phone to projector would allow mirroring and it does not. One positive is that projector casting is Beautiful and clear
