ARvid Augmented Reality

I only write reviews when I’m really excited about something. This app (shh, don’t tell them I said this) could be double the price—and well, it sort of is, IF you purchase the full package. But that said, it is an amazing creation and well worth the investment if you consider what it would cost to (time and money) to create these things independently. If you are an independent filmmaker (I’d say , a student), and you want to add some wow factor to your music videos or dream sequence type of thing, you can create the video here and then play around with it in post. Are the animated characters completely believable? Not always, but they are as believable as some of the best video games out there. Try playing around with the 3D art, set it up, then hit the “X” (took me a minute to figure this out) and you can walk around and video your creation. Not only that, you can add all sorts of things to this immersive world. Your imagination is the only limiter in this amazing app. If you have an iPhone Pro, this is a must have app.

I just got this yesterday (as of writing this) and it’s been a blast! From dogs to portals you can make any room in your home to a magical fantasy land! You can even control some of the animals and make them walk towards you. Though, there are a few minor downsides that I’d like to point out. 1. If you go behind a wall, you can still see the 3d models on the other side. 2. There is still a LOT you can do without the pro version, but maybe just a little more models for the non-pro users. 3. There’s only one (I think) option in the settings, and some more settings to choose from would be great. Maybe there could be like a collision toggle, where if the phone or human goes into an animal, the animal gets like bumped and moves too (this would only apply to some objects) and an option to choose if you could put props on walls or ceilings. 4. Multiple like rock effects (I don’t know what it’s called but the rock explosion icon thing at the end of the list) that you can put at once. Maybe it could work like: I put a meteor in the kitchen counter, and it works the same, but then I put that rocket ship looking thing next to it. On the left of the screen, instead of the action button being replaced, another action button appears labeled “2” on the right side of it. And the meteor would be labeled “1”. Otherwise, this is some incredible AR technology! I can’t wait to see what it becomes in the future!

This app is so fun you can literally add life to any video or picture. They have 360 degree green screens that can make you look like your on a run way at the airport or in outer space or on the field at a soccer stadium. You can add animals, dinosaurs, trees, plants, ufo’s , other characters and many other props to your pictures or videos. You be the director and make your vision or story come to life. I could play on this app all day! I highly recommend it and I even recommend buying the subscription, that’s what I did. I don’t regret it one bit, it is well worth the money and I am so happy with the app thus far! Get creative have some fun and let your imagination run wild!!!
