I never write reviews but this app deserves one. I was struggling so bad just reading my anatomy and physiology book. I was flipping through my book for hours trying to figure out the bones on flat sheets of paper. Turning the pages back and forth to see a different angle and understanding nothing. No more of that! This app is amazing. You can see all angles, individual bone shapes, take away bones so you can see other bones (especially helpful for the facial bones). I learned more in 30 minutes playing around on this app than I did staring at my book for 2 weeks. I genuinely wish I wouldโve downloaded it sooner. Iโm so mad I wasted so much time before looking for this app. I will recommend it to literally anyone I know that takes anatomy and physiology.
I was on a wild online spending spree and spent about 50 bucks on various apps and video games. I also LOVE anatomy, discovering and memorizing parts of the human body. I bought this and at first I was worried that I would have buyers remorse, because it was like 16 dollars and I didnโt really think before buying it. So far, I love it!!! Very in-depth and definitely worth the money. One thing that would make this better would be to add a bit of information along with the pieces, for example I would love to be able to click on the longissimus dorsi muscle and read a bit on how it stabilizes the body. Anyways, again great purchase and I definitely recommend it for students, kids, and anybody else with curiosity about the human body
I thoroughly enjoy this app. Itโs pretty easy to use and I love that it includes glands, nerves and so forth. Iโm not a medical professional, just trying to learn the body better so maybe the app is more for people who already have information. But so far, there are a couple of things I wish to see in the future. 1) The animation videos. After opening an animation from the animation screen, the back button takes you to the 3D model forcing you to open the animation menu each time you want to switch videos. It would be more user friendly if the back button took you to the previous tab you had open. 1.5) I wish the animation videos had a legend or something similar. The muscles change color, but it doesnโt say what the color change means. 2) As someone who bought the app to try to learn about the body, it would be awesome if there was an information window for each of the body parts that mentioned what its function is and what role it plays in the body so that I don't have to leave the app every time I want to know what something does. Such as clicking on an information icon on the pituitary gland, it could say, โThe pituitary gland controls the involuntary nervous system and regulates growth, metabolism, and reproduction hormonesโ or something. It would also be nice to see causal terms listed as well such as โtympanic membrane (eardrum)โ I do recognize someone with my lack of knowledge may not be the targeted audience for the app, but it would be wonderful to see a little more information within the app.
