Sadly, my tried and true application for logging film no longer is compatible with the modern iPhones. So I had to find a alternative. This app seems to be the best option to all of the other apps like it on the store, but I still have problems with it. The speed and aperture settings when logging exposures is faulty and buggy and will consistently ask me to enter in a custom aperture or shutter speed. I also needed this app to have a note section that I can easily write onto. At the moment, you have to go back into each individual picture and add a note under it, this takes too much time feature. I’m hoping that these changes could be made and this could be a really valuable application.
All I wanted was a simple log book to keep track of exposure. But this app right off the bat is easy to use and will allow me to meter and even look back on old rolls. I need to use it more but I’m so excited for my next roll!
Using this app has helped me in many ways beyond just metering and logging info. It has helped streamline my process of organizing my analog photos. I highly recommend integrating NOSSAFLEX as a system into your film photography workflow. Thanks!!
