I attempted to open an account a week ago using my phone number. I haven’t even made a purchase, nor added balance. Upon trying to log in, my account is immediately frozen, and after ten days of me calling customer service and them calling me saying they’ll resolve the issue, they inform me that their AI security system has flagged me as a high risk threat, which cannot be overridden. So, to no fault of my own I am suddenly barred from one of the most common payment methods in HK. Great…

This app is better version of Alipay, but fell sorry that this available only in Hong Kong.

It’s very convenient to transfer money to friends. And payment with credit card is also very fast (faster than use card directly). But you can’t use this app in China.
