It’s not simple! I’ve had other vocal apps that were so much easier than this one to operate. When you select a song it takes you to your own downloads rather than a library. I tried downloading music from my music library into the “downloads “ file and I can’t. Plus, the voices they give you like “cow” or “microwave” are super lame. All I want to do is record my voice, click upload then “select song” upon which a large selection of music appears and I pick one. Also they sneak in charges after you pay for your week. There was another $7.00 fee and it’s not like you can just skip it. And because you’ve already paid for your week you almost HAVE to pay the extra money. It’s not made to be easy. There are no clear directions on how to get your music into your “downloads OR my iCloud downloads” I even downloaded music from Apple Music and it did not go directly to downloads or ICloud. For the price it should be INCREDIBLY SIMPLE and there should be a library. AND THEIR SELECTION OF SOUND EFFECTS OR AI GENERATED MUSIC IS SO BAD.

I don’t know where to start here. I’ve been using this app under subscription for about two weeks, and during that time I have not had any luck with generating any AI music as promised. In fact, the songs that it seems to generate a random, I can’t recall if they tell you this upfront, but the generated songs are limited to :29 seconds. This falls below the promise of being able to create your own AI generated music would consider this closer to a sample of music. This would work fine if the music actually seem to generate any consistency, but it does not. In fact, I’m fairly sure it’s random. A few moments ago, I asked to generate a pop version of techno music - it gave me what it labeled as smooth jazz. I tried again and got soothing wave music. Again and got jazz again. All of these responses are far from the prompt and all at :29 seconds. Interestingly, the samples of other work you can view are 1:00. This is not even touching the nightmare of AI voice with knock off characters to avoid legal action. The dollar store names are funny (Tailor Swifty is an example) but God help me is it not great quality. They basically run the song through an algorithm to change the tone of the voice to try to simulate what they think the character sounds like. I’m not sure how much AI is actually involved for that part of the process but the results are not great. It’s a far cry from how the app is advertised. I’ve asked for a refund.

So when I first saw this app I thought “Now I can have a field day with this” little did I know about the things that I didn’t like here. First you have to pay for a subscription in order to get the full version of your favorite character playing your favorite song (They give you the first one for free but after that, that’s pretty much it). And second, when your character sings the song, the voice is not loud enough to the part where you just hear everyone but the singer. So all I’m going to say is “Let people listen to their favorite songs without them paying for a subscription.”
