After Dark - Survival Tomb

This company makes many games… They had me with Squad Alpha which was a blast until they bailed on the game… After Dark was fun for a day or two if your doing something else like watching TV or watching grass grow. The ads are horrendous. Every 2-3 minutes an ad pops up and if ur in an area where ur killing monsters, when you come back you start that area over. You can buy gems and or coins to increase your hero, but you can’t buy out of the ads. I put money into Sqaud Alpha and had some fun. I’m sure there are plenty of people that will feed this company money as I did for 1 specific game. Save ur money, get a console system, try Steam, or go to Apple Arcade. $10-$20 dollars for a game you may enjoy and has a repeat value is much more rewarding in my opinion. Plus it is a lot cheaper than giving companies like SayGames more money…. Do your research, use AI, find something that you can play over and over without spending $100’s of dollars and risking the chance the company bails on the game and you ! I really really wanted to like this app and was really looking forward to it. My rating is not based on the actual gameplay. (The minute amount you actually get to play between ads) the graphics are great and far as I can tell the gameplay COULD be really fun. HOWEVER! Instead of listing this game as a paid app this developer chose to go the irritating and ruin the game route. Yea it’s free if you like spending 2/3 of your time watching forced ads. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind watching an ad here and there when I choose to in order to acquire premium in game content. I and I’m pretty sure nobody else enjoys having ads constantly shoved down our throats because we don’t want to spend $10 for the ads to go away just to see if we even like the game. It’s ridiculous the amount of ads you’re forced to watch just for regular gameplay this isn’t even taking into account the additional ads you can choose to watch for stuff. Nothing more than another dev who cares more about revenue than the actual product. Sad really. What happened to taking pride in what you do anymore?

I loved the game since the beginning, but then it just froze and I assumed I had reached the end, there was nothing left to do except survive the night over and over and over and over like 30 times! But I would check it every day just to see if it was up yet, and then bam one day started completely over meaning I’ve lost everything but they’ve added stuff so I get to keep playing! Another update 🤦🏽‍♀️ Everything was going well, I was enjoying the new updates and I got really far back into the game again, and then I came on one day everything was gone starting over at Ground Zero. So, it was fun while it lasted, but time to move on.
