In the very early development of Apple App Store apps I did a lot of searching for good calculation practice tools. For right or for wrong the cutesy character themed ones did not get much of my attention. I also wasn’t looking for left to right arithmetic sentences for my kids (or for me) to fill out and be back to little more than worksheets. I was looking for whole number structure building. I was looking to help them build up to a final total with many ways to get there. This was the best I found at the time and I still like to pull it out here and there and keep my calculation speed fresh. There are two options, addition and multiplication, but I generally only use the addition. Within the timer mode play I am not quite sure I prefer how it scores you but it is by far a better way than traditional adding and subtracting taught in elementary school, in my opinion.
I love this game really makes u think
This game is for people who r quick with their math facts. Very challenging for me 2 finish & I'm an adult!LOL. Once u figure out u push the circles with the #'s to equal the number in the big circle, u then have to find the corresponding little bubbles. There are adds at the bottom of the page that block some numbers so sometimes u have 2 skip a problem. The best part is the pause button, so u can think a problem thru b4 tapping numbers. It's fun, it REALLY works ur brain. 😉
