Action News Jax

I find Fox News, Weather, and General Information to be the more accurate of the local stations in my area. The broadcasters and reporters tend to be friendlier, humanistic, down-to-earth, and somewhat willing to find the truth despite public and social media pressure. My only complaint is please don’t forget Baker County. One recommendation is keep improving on tunnel vision regarding Law Enforcement and perception of community/social media — look outside the lens and verify all facts — take emotion out of the equation when situation is volatile and/controversial. Enjoy the site. Just wish it would be updated more frequently. Sometimes items stay online for a week or more...which is ‘old news’. Also, you need a spellcheck.......have seen many articles with errors in spelling. Especially enjoy the site when out of town....keeps me updated on local news. Keep up the good work.😊

This app is actually terrible. Aside from not being able to disable the sports notifications, the sequence of news is awful. When trying to find news that’s not considered a “top story,” it’s nearly impossible. For example, when news broke about a missing child, the entire Top Stories page was full of repeat articles and information with no real updates and there was no way to pull the news about other important things happening in the area simultaneously (shootings, accidents, school lockdowns). I love watching Actions News Jax on TV, but this news app is a poor attempt at keeping the public up to date on local news. It would be nice if a search bar were integrated into the app. Additionally, grammatical errors and typos are extremely common in their articles. The design of the app is also very choppy. Major updating is needed.
