I would actually give this app 0 stars if I could. I was able to order stuff online last week and this week it’s asking me for my Chinese citizenship card. I understand the policy with binding an ID to each account for safety reasons but I don’t understand why there is no option to bind my passport number? How are you asking for something some customers don’t have? Platform either needs to fix this or take their app down from the U.S. App Store. Ridiculous

The App crushed each time I tried to edit or add pictures, and lost my writing after reopen the App. While I did allow the copy/paste to the app, I couldn’t paste anything to the review. Even though I planed to leave a very positive and useful review to others🤣 IMO, JD needs to work much harder to improve this APP’s user experience instead of adding hundreds of (if not thousands of) unrelated features/ adds which are not helpful to consumers at all. I have bought a lot of stuff from JD app for elders in my family over the past few years. Most of my shopping experiences, including products, shipping and return etc., are very positive. While I barely leave any review I do rely on the others’ review information. However, the first time I tried to leave my own review over so many years, I just found out to leave a review itself is a very frustrated procedure. I spent 25 mins but couldn’t finish any real review with notes or pictures. This is absolutely unacceptable to an e-commerce platform like JD. I hope someone can get the notes and improve this ASAP!

I have been using JD for years. I like it it because I thought they treat customers data more carefully and their products are of better quality. I was so wrong on both! For e.g, I bought an Apple Watch band, and it broke the moment I took it out of the box. I proceeded to write a poor review for this product, but it was deleted. The product had thousands of review and it remained at 5 stars. I refused to believe that no one wrote less than a 5 star review. My guess is that vendors can use money to remove poor reviews.
