Zooba: Fun Battle Royale Games

This game started out great, the crates gave you an amount of coins that was viable in character progression and the matchmaking was ok, since they announced the great “changes” that were coming it has suffered a lot. They took away the coin amounts from crates to “level” the unfair advantage but it only hurts lower level players and then raised the amount of coins needed to upgrade characters in the new character progression. The trophy loss and matchmaking was supposed to be fixed and have seen nothing of the sort. I unfortunately have put a few $100 into this game and it was absolutely not worth it at all, save your money! If I wasn’t so invested in this game I would have deleted it by now, it’s more frustrating than enjoyable which is a shame because when I first got it I enjoyed the game ALOT! Since the big update last year it has gone downhill quickly and new character introduction do not make up for what appears to nothing more than a money machine for the developers and their friends. If you are not already heavily invested I would encourage you to wait and see if they actually fix the issues with this game. Add on to all of that they now have in game ads! That is a new addition that is quite frustrating because they were NEVER there until a few weeks ago so apparently now I am supposed to pay for the premium pass to be ad free…disappointing!

I have been playing this game for a couple of years, and personally love everything about it. Whenever I had a rough day, and just need to take my mind off things I play this game. I love how they are always adding new characters, skins, and emotes. I disagree with people who don’t like the match making, and think it is fun because you never know who you will get teamed up against, and in the end it’s all a game if we’re going to be real. I also love the adrenaline of the idea of loosing trophies if you don’t survive a certain amount of time, and gaining them if you survive farther. This game has no ads (unless you choose to for rewards), and although there are many things that you can purchase, it is more of a play to win than a pay to win. In closing, I definitely recommend this game, but a piece of advice, don’t give up because there are sweats all the time. All you have to do is practice for a couple of weeks, and after a while you will get into the medium level matches where there are a lot less sweats, and you won’t tend to encounter them until you become one (yes, there are more sweats in the beginner matches than the more average player matches, because all you have to do is not have a lot of trophies with a new character to access these matches again). I was not paid to make this review, and I hope it helps encourage more to play this game I love.

I love the game and I play it basically every day. Here are a few suggestions to make the game better though. I feel like we should be able to communicate with my team when we are sitting in the menu waiting on everyone to get ready , i play with my family so i would like to be able to text them on the screen to talk. If there could be a chat with just your team on the side it would be very nice. Also when i’m playing it is very aggravating when a level 20 character comes up and completely kills my whole team and you can’t even kill them. Another suggestion is that when you get to league 19 trying to get to 20, that it is not so hard to get new characters and trophies. It is almost impossible to get to league 20 and get new characters. I have 45/47 of the characters and i should be able to get one more but it won’t let me get it no matter what i buy. Also, it is very hard to upgrade my characters. I have to buy crate bundles if i want to upgrade a character. I would like to be able to get character tokens another way other then crates. i have level 18 characters that will never make it to level 19 because i can never get enough character tokens. I would really like it if this could be looked at and thought about for new features.
