The instructors are truly impressive in not only their wide knowledge base but also their approach in instruction is simple, clear, and something rare to find in yoga instruction: explains well how far to take a pose to keep you in a place of growth with less risk of injury due to pushing too far. Some instructors lean more in the caution, so much so no growth happens. And they always leave you a range of options so you are in your place to decide how far to take it. Been using it for 4 weeks. LOVE IT! See the improvement!!! ❤️
There is so much mobility advice online and little drips and drives, and offers of expensive programs. I have tried signing up for browser based courses but those haven’t clicked with me because of the delivery method. I find that I can’t really make myself do full yoga routine routines on YouTube or that sort of thing. With Yoga body, I love the app based delivery and, after about a month of trying the routines, I love the program. The strength routines usually involve three sets of three exercise exercises, so I make a deal with myself to at least do the first set of all three and usually end up doing the whole routine, but if one of them aggravates an old injury I can always drop it after the first go around. And of course Yoga body is known for stretching, and the stretching routines are always just the right amount of challenging with nice variety. For reference, I am 50, I have been doing light kettlebell routines at home for a decade or so, and otherwise just walking or hiking, but I also struggle with chronic pain and old injuries and tight hips and hamstrings, so I am not some kind of elite athlete.
The app works well with occasional glitches. Fresh content delivered 5x/week with many extras. I am a 66-year old man in reasonably good shape, but interested in preserving my mobility and flexibility as long as I can. The workouts and stretches are usually challenging and helpful to that purpose. After doing the program for 4-5 months, I noticed that taking long trips in my car no longer brings me discomfort.
