I had Nest that expired and liked having an App so you and one other were the only good options. I thought the first alert that worked with the nest app was overpriced for what it did. My useful comments are why if I have to change the battery after 3 to 5 years why put the battery on the back that requires taking the sensor down you should have a holder with a magnet or grabber that doesn’t require getting a latter or hiring someone to get to the high mounted ones. But some way from the floor to make the battery change or a different battery You could even sell the special stick to bring the battery holder down change the battery and put it back in. I am almost 80 years old and don’t like latters but I will bet I’m not alone. Also I wish it said the room and alert. But in general I like the product.

I am extremely happy with this system, and I am not affiliated in any way with the manufacturer. The readouts to the nearest 1/10th of a degree are consistent, detailed, and it’s wonderful how they upload to the app on the phone. I have no complaints whatsoever but will note 2 things. First, the initial process of getting the base to connect by Wi-Fi was not easy, and took several attempts, including deleting and reinstalling the app, resetting the router, and trying to get it to connect. Once it did connect though, about a week ago, it has been rocksolid since then. Second, the thermometer sensors are pretty slow to adjust (several minutes), but that is not an issue if you are monitoring the temperature over time and not looking for an instant reading. I wholeheartedly recommend this reasonably priced precision system.

Honest review… ten times better than the #1 rated product. Needed leak detection for a beach house shared by 10 different owners/familles in SC. The X app is FAR CLEANER and easier to setup for multiple users.. the other product was a disaster. With nothing but constant ads… this gives you ONE ADMINISTRATOR AKD 12 USERS…. Nice, clean and simple. The elderly get phone notifications and voice notifications over the base station. And can silence the alarm at back of base station. Ive got 7 locations in the house set up and 8 sensors and the base in these locations. Sent out 12 invites via the app and 4 out of the 12 have loaded it to their smart phone so far, BY THEMSELVES, and all are over age 70… I’m gonna push to add smoke and CO2 at next LLC / home owners meeting for our sweet little piece of beach heaven!
