Word Shop - Fun Spelling Games

I’ve used many apps like this one and this one is by far the best one. You can spell real, everyday word that you know rather than ones that are seldom used. The best feature, for example, is that if you need to spell four words with three letters each, it accepts whatever “real” four words with threes letters each that you spell. All other apps want you to spell specific words it wants you to spell before moving one, even if there are perhaps 8 different three letter words that could be spelled. Makes the game much more enjoyable. My only suggestion would be that it could be played in landscape mode, not just portrait.

When I was looking through this app reading the reviews and saw how loyal the developers of the word shop were when replying to reviews I knew I had to get it. This, and other people have mentioned, is the perfect amount of hard without being too much. It keeps you challenged, your brain agile, and most of all it is super fun! The only thing I disliked was how expensive hints were... but it did prevent me from using them and 95% of the time i was able to figure it out on my own. Way to go!! One the the best apps I’ve gotten in such a long time.

I am 74 years old and started playing to cope with the death of my husband. It helped me to keep my mind on something else especially when I would wake up all hours of the night and need to focus on something else. I love that it isn't too difficult but still makes my mind work on staying fit. If you made it too difficult I would get discouraged and give up but it's just hard enough to give me a sense of accomplishment when I complete a round. It also helps my spelling. I am not good at spelling but I keep putting in the letters until I get it right. Thanks for your hard work.
