Word Jewels® Classic

I really enjoy this game. The clicking sounds are soothing as the tiles gently click to place and the chime at the end of the puzzle is soothing as well. I like that you can get simple three letter words and still clear the board. I like that if you fail a level you can restart at your last highest level. It’s a nice way to unwind at the end of the night for me.

This classic word game allows for different variations by allowing players to chose which mode they prefer to play in. I like the Classic mode, the Rally mode and the Endless mode the best. The games are not timed which allows the player to relax and play the games for their personal enjoyment and for their best personal score. Great way to strengthen your vocabulary and work on spatial awareness as well!

I like free apps, but have never been one to do games per se. This is an intellectual challenge so I love it!! I turn OFF all sounds so I can do it on planes, waiting for appontments, etc. Once you are into it you get only 9 moves to use all 25 letters. My goal is to see how many moves I can conserve and still solve the puzzle. My best was I solved in 4 moves. Those Q, J, X, V, and Z letters are SUPER hard to use. I also like to forego the easy words and go for 6 or more letters. This game is awesome! My two grandsons ages 6 & 8 also love it so much I had to get another version Word Jewels 2 they can play so I could keep my level (483) as it is a cumulative scoring system.
