This is a great app for those of us who need a little distraction to fall asleep. It unwinds from the day’s activity to help relax and decompress. It’s also great to listen if one wakes up in the middle of the night and has trouble returning to sleep. The topics are varied and numerous. I don’t believe I’ve ever made it through an entire 20-30 minute reading without falling asleep. One exception, story about the Museum of Bad Art ( it actually exists) which was hilarious and I finally fell asleep laughing. Sleep tight!
But I have to, because this app is EVERYTHING. I’ve struggled with insomnia for years, and having these stories to look forward to every night has been a game changer. The variety of content is impressive, not just for the sake of variety, but because it is literally ALL interesting. Did you know you wanted to learn about the history of lobotomies? Because I didn’t, but boy is it fascinating. Mr. Sala doesn’t underestimate the intelligence of his audience; you will not find anything boring or corny in this app. And what’s especially amazing is I never fail to fall asleep, no matter how interesting the content is. If you love effortless learning and stories off the beaten track, this app is for you. Download immediately.
WikiSleep is a new addition to my collection. Good sound sleep is precious to me. I have only previewed some of the stories and I am very interested in enjoying them further before bedtime. After a period of time I will leave a more detailed and likely awesome review. High Hopes, Lisa V.
