VideoGet: Downloader & Editor

The app was originally launching with a blank white screen then crashing. No subsequent updates or restarting the phone helped. Running out of options I went to settings and scrolled down to the app’s settings and turned every setting off (aside from leaving use cellular data on) and tried the app again. This time it finally launched as it should and went through a reloading of the data library process. After loading some of the new functions/controls were different than before and after an hour of messing around with it I was finally able to find my way around on the app. Documentation of some sort wouldn’t avoided 99% of the issues I had originally with the update. Maybe they should add instructions of some sort? Hope this helps others having the white screen issue..

I used to have your other app titled “video transfer”. Got a new phone and it says that app is no longer on the App Store :( Found this one and it looks like it’s made by the same people and is basically the same app but it’s missing the internet browser download feature. If I had to guess, someone probably made you remove it. I used that feature all the time and while it looks like I won’t be able to do so anymore, I just wanted to say thank you for making a very useful product that was great while it lasted.

Downloading is easy, but a few tweaks could make it great. 1)Transfer to the computer is only through WiFi, which can be fickle at times. There should be an option to export to your phone so you can connect the phone to the computer and transfer that way. 2) The constant download pop up gets really annoying. The button on the top left to download is fine. The constant pop up asking if you want to download should be stopped. 3) There has been no update for this app since I got it a while ago. Maybe a year or so. I had another app I used for downloading, but I had to delete it because it eventually became obsolete. I have a feeling that will happen to this app soon. It needs to be updated. I’d give this a higher rating if an update alone happens. All three issues fixed, and it’d be a 5* app.
