Video Diary: Video Journal

I’ve used this app for almost 3 years to keep track of a daily snippet of my kids lives. For some reason since the latest update there were so many changes it’s not even resembling the same app. I enjoyed the 3 second clip option, now it makes you trim down the video to however long you want it. It won’t let me click on a certain date anymore, almost as if the calibration is off. I touch Jan 2 and it goes over to Dec 31. I can’t even click on Jan 5. When I do finally click on the date I want to add a video too it will only let me click on the top 3 most recent videos, none of the other ones are an option. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THESE BUGS or go back to the way it used to be. Signed a very sad mom that just wants her video diary app back 😔

I was looking for an app to capture my daily events when I travel that I can easily share. I found this one, and while I can custom make my videos and easily add pictures and videos, I be experienced frustration trying to find previous published videos from days earlier. There is no library that I have found. If there is one, it needs to be more obvious. Also, sometimes when I add music, it either doesn't load or lags about 3-4 pictures into the video. I did see a calendar feature under the button next to The Freestyle button. that would be an awesome way to locate videos regardless of how/where you create them. A back button within the program would be helpful as well. Sometimes I don't know how to get out of a screen. It could be more intuitive. Great idea that could be awesome.

Pros: - easy to understand - many of the common features - no subscriptions or payments needed Cons: - can crash + freeze sometimes - no collab option like some other apps - ‼️ Snapchat videos cause problems when merging ‼️ - the music feature doesn’t work well __________________________________________ I love this app!! It is organized, easy to understand, and has a lot of great features with no price. I definitely recommend!! ‼️ Please read this: the MERGING FEATURE WILL NOT WORK WITH CERTAIN TYPES OF VIDEOS. I had a video saved from Snapchat and it caused the app to crash when I tried to merge everything. So if your merging isn’t working, it is likely because you have a funky video like that in there somewhere.
